Selfish Box

I was talking with a parent in Winner's Circle the other day about a discipline teaching technique they use at their house and I thought it was worthy of sharing:

Whenever the children in their house fight over or argue over a toy, the parents take the item away and put in the the "Selfish Box" for a period of time to remind the children of their selfish attitude towards that toy.

This really helps children to understand that they shouldn't fight over things, but it also gets to the heart of the problem - selfishness.

Thanks Chris!
